How to Make Makeup Last All Day

Many women who diligently apply makeup every morning are often faced with the unpleasant surprise of discovering that all their effort was almost in vain a few hours later, when the makeup fades to the point of becoming invisible. Reapplying makeup is every few hours is not always possible especially in a due to our hectic schedule, but this problem can be easily solved by knowing a few simple tricks you can use to make your makeup last all day.

An essential requirement for making the makeup last all day is using high quality makeup products. Another basic rule is to never try to apply makeup immediately after getting out of the shower. After the preparation stage its time to use a moisturizer before applying foundation. Choose a moisturizer with a SPF of at least 15 for an optimal protection against the UV rays. Allow the moisturizer to be be perfectly absorbed into the skin before applying foundation. If you are in a hurry you can try using the cool setting of your blow dryer to speed things up a bit. The type of foundation with the most staying power is the one with a matte finish formula is also ideal for oily and combination skin types.
